We moved recently and had to ‘unplug’ the complicated setup we had for TV / DVD / Sonos / CD Player / Soundbar / Receiver / HD PVR. When we hooked it back together, it didn’t work properly. We needed an expert! We had also bought new TVs and components to be wall mounted and Bill was able to do both the physical and technical portions of the job with ease!
He explained how things work so we could manage it going forward. One of the setups required a special cable we didn’t have, but Bill had one, which was a huge timesaver for us. His service was excellent and well worth the money.

We needed someone to install a Q See 12 camera surveilence system in our store. Found Bill on Meaford.com . Bill did the job in 1 day and did some extra investigation on setting up the monitors. My sister has early stage vascular dementia and lives on her own. Gord Turner of Care link Advantage and Help Line has been a tremendous help in assisting me as my sister’s POA, with suggestions as to how we can keep her safe in her own apartment.

This summer my husband and I started our renovations in our new house. We had to mount a 75″ TV on the wall above a large fireplace. I met Bill through the Meaford Chamber of Commerce and I am so happy I did. He had the TV mounted in record time. He took the stress of finding the proper wall mount out of the equation by offering us choices for our TV. He quickly took care of getting the wall mount and getting the tv mount booked. It has absolutely transformed our living room and made the rest of our renos much easier – since that thorn in our side was taken care of.

I have a son who has special needs and am interested in getting a device installed in my home that will sound an alarm if my front door is opened as my son is a “flight risk”. I contacted Homebuttons for a quote on getting such a device and to my surprise I had two different options on paper with excellent prices in my hands in less then 12 hours later! Bill was recommended to me from my nurses and came highly recommended, I put the call into him and explained what it was that i needed and he ordered the product right away.

He came over to the house installed the alarm system and explained how it all worked. Bill was very professional and courteous. I feel safe now I have my alarm.

As for the system, it was a huge success for us.

Care Link system allowed us to monitor Jim’s safety with extreme privacy for him.

We couldn’t have been more happy with the results of this system.

One night we received a call from the care provider that they had not been able to reach Jim by phone.

This was not hugely unusual, however, I went to check on his monitor status, and noted he’d been in the bathroom not too long ago. This led to us calling about 1 hr later, with no response.

I checked the system and had noted NO movement in 1.5hrs. Not alarming, but concerning that he didn’t answer the phone. After 2.5 hrs we checked again and noted no movement or activity on his chair or bed. This was concerning and we sent over a neighbour. Sure enough Jim was on the floor (for his first time.

He admitted that he CHOSE not to activate his alarm because he didn’t want all the fuss! However, fuss is what happened.

It was very comforting and in a way empowering to be able to track our dad’s movements, or lack of movements and raise an alarm.

The next time he fell, he was smart and pushed his alarm for help. He was happy to be able to speak directly with the dispatcher and relay that he was not hurt, but simply needed help getting up. This was immediately relayed to us. We were able to activate EMS to assist our dad with getting up and being checked over. And he remained in his home that night with no injuries or concerns. This was a huge relief for us that he was safe and we did not have to make another long drive to check on him or pick him up.

We cannot adequately find words to describe how “at ease” and “comforted” we are with this system in place. Knowing our dad was both safe inside his home and safe from the outside intruders as well.

The fact that this system can be completely tailored to each person or situation is a huge advantage over other systems. And as WE grow older and look towards ourselves needing safety within our home, flexibility and tailored is exactly what we will expect. Long gone are the days where customers will have to fit into the program of safety and security. At least not with this system available.
