I’m very proud of the fact that Homebuttons was awarded the Customer Service Award at the annual dinner this spring hosted by the Meaford Chamber of Commerce. It was very gratifying to receive the support from the community and, looking out from the stage as I accepted the award, to see the smiling faces of so many of my customers. But what pleased me most was the citation read out in the presentation of the award. Here is what it says:

This award is presented to a business that consistently goes out of its way to provide superior service to its customers.
For this year’s winner, one nominator says “very professional in his manner. He has a calm that can be felt.” The nominator goes on to point out that he has “honourable pricing and quotes”. Another nominator says “I am not in the habit of praising someone for a ‘job well done’. However, had it not been for this…exceptional service life would definitely be more complicated”.
The glowing feedback from other nominators for this year’s winner include words and phrases like: unswerving integrity, conscientious, creative solutions, timely responsiveness, top-notch interpersonal skills, thorough and reliable. They also note that the follow-up after the sale is exceptional and often free of charge.
It was not hard, after reading the nominations, to see that anyone who deals with this year’s winner is confident that he provides service second to none.
